We have recently finished assembling and cleaning our data from the last field season (summer 2017) and have archived it with the Knowledge Network for Biocomplexity (KNB) database. These data, however, are currently private but we are happy to communicate about what we have until they are openly available. In such instances, please contact Ginny Eckert (gleckert@alaska.edu) or Tiff Stephens (tastephens@alaska.edu) with questions.
We have data in the following areas:
Sea otter counts and densities
Seagrass (Zostera marina) density, biomass, and morphometrics
Sediment organic and inorganic matter content from seagrass beds
Epiphyte and epifauna counts and biomass from seagrass beds
Clam community assemblages (intertidal); variable habitats
Crab community assemblages in seagrass beds
Fish community assemblages in seagrass beds
Number of sea otter pits in the intertidal
Clamshell litter used as an estimation of the cause of death in clams
Environmental data; temperature, salinity, nutrients
